Welcome to Thorabella Farm – home of the buffalo … and our family!
Thorabella Farm is a working farm with buffalo, highland cows, sheep, goats, wallbies, rabbits, hens and bees. Our Farm Shop sells Thorabella Farm Produce including buffalo, eggs, honey and milk as well as produce from all other local businesses. You can come stay on the farm in on of our three straw bale holiday cabins to enjoy the animals, the farm and the outdoors from our countryside location near Elgin and Forres.

Farm Shop
We have buffalo everything … buffalo steaks, buffalo joints, buffalo mince, buffalo burgers, buffalo sausages … as well as fresh eggs and honey as well Highland Cow and Pork, seasonable vegetables & milk all from our farm.

Straw Bale Holiday Cabins
3 straw bale holiday cabins sleeping up to 4 and situated on our working farm to enjoy the outdoors and our amazing animals including our buffaloes, wallabies, highland cows, pigs, sheeps, goats, rabbits and hens.

Peek a boo! Kaja the jackdaw doesn’t stay with us anymore overnight but still pops in to be fed 4/5 times a week and terrorise the farm 😳 really has the best of both worlds

I’ve been a bit absent from the farm as I took on a seasonal job at the maltings. Can’t wait to get back and really get stuck in with our new projects. Couldn’t of done it without Ollie working overdrive and help from friends! ❤️
